"My name is Stacey and I’m Mum to two beautiful little boys.

When my eldest was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder - Level 3, our lives changed significantly, especially as my son’s needs continued to increase.

It was a journey that felt very lonely, until I reached out to the Luke Priddis Foundation (LPF) where I joined the MyTime playgroup with other parents going through the same experience. It gave me the support and sense of community that my family needed, and helped us navigate our path forward with kindness and understanding.

The Foundation makes a world of difference for families like mine, and helped motivate me to create resources like this one so that our children’s differences can be celebrated."

In need of Psychology Services? LPF has availability!

Our Psychologists can provide support in the following ways.

• Therapy: Individual treatment programs are developed in collaboration with the client and their families. These may address the following concerns:
o Emotional regulation and communication
o Anxiety
o Mood disturbance
o Intrusive/disordered thinking
o Identifying and coping with strong or confusing thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
o Goal setting
o Skill building regarding perspective-taking and problem-solving
• Assessments: Assessments can provide additional information for treatment planning and can help young people access additional support services or funding in education and community settings. We can provide the following assessments:
o Cognitive
o Achievement
o ADHD
o ASD screening
o Mental Health
