Paper Doll Making – Fine Motor and Daily Living Skills Group
For both boys and girls at any age!
Time to complete activity: approx. 2 hours
Where it will take place: In your home space and at a time that suits you
Who: Group member accompanied by parent
The group program will involve:
Creating your very own paper doll character through fine motor and daily living skills activities.
You can name your character what you like. Your character will be provided with a set of instructions regarding how to dress for the day ahead. This could include: Dressing for; the beach, the movies, the park, the zoo, the snow or picnic.
Your task is to take care of your character for the day. This includes; dressing for the day ahead, getting ready in the morning, and preparing for bed time.
You will be provided with instructions on how to do these specific daily living skills.
Your resource pack will include various materials such as:
- Clothing materials
- Pictures to choose from to create your character
- Colouring pencils
For you to bring:
- Spare colouring in pencils
- Yourself and parent
