2009 Trivia Night

Luke Priddis Foundation Trivia Night

The 2009 Trivia Night was a great success!

The 2009 Luke Priddis Foundation Trivia Night (our first ever Trivia Night), was held on Saturday, 17th October 2009 at St Marys Leagues Club.

The 220+ guests who attended, enjoyed an evening of Trivia, Games, Prize Draws, Raffles and Silent Auctions and had heaps of fun, whilst also supporting a great cause.

Luke Priddis was MC for the evening, with our “Trivia Master” being loyal Foundation supporter and great bloke, Matt Graham.

Emma Husar, one of our newest Board members, was our Key Note Speaker and gave a heartfelt talk about her recent journey through the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis process for her son and their subsequent entry into the world of Early Intervention, together with an insight into day to day life as the parent of a child with ASD.

Everyone who attended the evening had a great night, with lots of lively debate about the answers to questions and lots of interest in who would win the fantastic Raffle prizes and our ever popular “Locked Fridge”!!!

We have received wonderful feedback from a number of those who attended and over all the Trivia Night was a great success, both in terms of raising funds for the Foundation and also raising awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

We are thrilled to announce that we raised over $10,000 on the night.  All of this money will be allocated to our “Building Fund”, to enable us to build the first Luke Priddis Foundation Autism Early Intervention Centre.  We continue to get closer to achieving this goal and are pleased to advise that we are currently developing the Early Intervention Model that will operate in the Centre and working towards securing land on which to build the Centre.

We would like to sincerely thank all those who attended the Trivia Night, as well as the individuals and businesses who donated their goods, services and time to help make this event such a success.

A heart-felt thank you goes out to the following individuals and businesses:
