Community Services Funding

Each year the Luke Priddis Foundation offers Community Services Funding to organisations that provide early intervention services or educational services to children with Autism and their families.

Guidelines for Applications

  • Applications for the Luke Priddis Foundation’s (Foundation) Community Services Funding, are open to organisations, located within NSW, that provide early intervention services or educational services, to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD’s) and their families.
     
  • The Community Services Funding available from the Foundation will be capped at $20,000 annually.
     
  • A minimum of two services will be allocated the Community Services Funding annually.
     
  • All applications will be reviewed by and decisions regarding the allocation of funding will be made by the Management Committee of the Foundation. The Management Committee’s decision will be final.
     
  • When making their decisions, the Management Committee will allow for maximum benefit to the children and the community, from the funding allocated.
     
  • There are three categories in which an organisation can apply for funding, these being:

        -  Staffing;

        -  Training and/or

        -  Equipment.
     
  • Each organisation may submit up to two applications for funding, however, each application must be made under a different category (eg, one application may be for staffing for $5,000 and the other application may be for equipment for $1,000).
     
  • Organisations who are successful in their application, will need to:

        -  Provide a schedule of costs supported by copies of invoices and receipts, if they are requesting a reimbursement of costs incurred, or provide written quotes and/or invoices for work to be completed, equipment to be purchased, training to be undertaken or staff to be employed, if they are requesting payment in advance;

        -  Provide a brief report/summary of how the funding has benefited their service and the children they support; and

        -  Be willing to be involved in any relevant media coverage and have their details placed on the Foundation’s website, regarding the funding process, if necessary.
     
  • Please do not use any personal details of any of the children involved with your service, in your application.
     
  • All applications will be kept confidential to be viewed only by the Foundation Management Committee members and the Foundation’s Administration & Community Liaison Officer.
     
  • Please write the name of your organisation at the top of each page of your application.
     
  • All successful applicants will be notified of the outcome of this process, by phone call and mail, by Friday, 2nd October 2009.
     
  • All unsuccessful applications will be notified of the outcome of this process, by mail, by Friday, 2nd October 2009.
