Events > Professor Tony Attwood Workshop

We are thrilled to announce that the Luke Priddis Foundation will be hosting a "Managing Challenging Behaviours in Children with ASD" Workshop by Professor Tony Attwood.

Professor Attwood is a Clinical Psychologist, who has been specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorders, since 1975.  He works in private practice in Brisbane but is also an adjunct professor at Griffith University, Queensland.  His book "Aspergers Syndrome - A Guide for Parents and Professionals", has sold over 350,000 copies and has been translated into over twenty languages.  He has worked with over 6,000 individuals, of all ages, with ASD.

Professor Attwood presents workshops and runs training courses for parents, professionals and individuals with ASD, all over the world and is a prolific author of scientific papers and books on the subject.  

Details of Professor Attwood’s Workshop are as follows:-

Date    :  Friday, 9th March 2012

Time    :  6.00pm for a 6.30pm start

Venue  :  Penrith Panthers Club, Mulgoa Road Penrith (Jamison Room)

Tickets are $60 for parents and care givers OR $80 for professionals or families (ie; mother and father OR one parent and one grandparent etc).  Ticket price includes light refreshments.

A special discounted ticket price of $90 for parents and care givers and $125 for professionals or families, is being offered for those wishing to purchase a ticket to both the 2012 Paula Tazyman and Professor Tony Attwood Workshops.
